Ello again!!
Yesterday was a ton of fun. There is a guy in our hostel room from Perth, and we took us out yesterday with a bunch of Australians for Australia Day. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Australia Day, it basically means start drinking in the morning and don't ever stop. Ever. It was nuts! We were just being bought drinks because "Hey, its Australia Day!" We certainly didn't keep up with the crazy Aussies, but it was absolutely hilarious! There were fake mullets and blow-up kangaroos and flags... And so many people we couldn't move. So insane. Those Australians sure are proud!!
Today we went to some really cool markets called Portabello and Camden. They were really awesome- Portabello was this quaint little road with cool shops. Camden was the opposite- insanity! Tons of weird stores with jewelry and clothes and people begging you to buy things. We decided it was time to leave when a man offered to hook us up with a dealer in Hawaii... Ha!
Tonight we're going out for sushi with our Aussie and Oklahoma friends, which we're very excited about. We miss sushi and dim sum and spam. Just kidding, we don't miss spam.
Tomorrow we leave for Bath for a few days. Everyone says that it's just beautiful, and we're excted to get to see the countryside for a few days. And BONUS: Johnny Depp has a house there!
All for now guys, more soon of course. Oh, but I've got to give a shout-out to all of the Australians we've met. Seriously, you guys are our favorite nationality... SO much fun!!!
